Meet your Provider

Linda Akudo, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Linda Akudo is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of nursing experience across various settings. Linda is currently licensed to practice in Texas and Washington states. She believes in creating a safe, judgment-free space for her patients.


She obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas, and her master’s degree in nursing with specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health from The University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, Texas.


Outside of work, Linda enjoys a few hobbies including spending time with family and friends, cooking, and travelling.


Susan Ofori-Buadu, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Susana Ofori-Buadu is a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner with over seven years of nursing experience across various settings. Susana obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kettering College in Dayton, Ohio. She went on to work as an oncology nurse caring for cancer patients. This experience gave her a unique perspective on the importance of addressing mental health issues in patients. Through her interactions with oncology patients, who often struggle with untreated mental health conditions, she recognized the need for proper and comprehensive mental health care. This experience sparked her interest in mental health, leading her to pursue further education and specialization.


Susana earned her Master of Science in Nursing with psychiatric and mental health specialization from the University of Texas at Arlington. She completed a comprehensive one-year Nurse Practitioner Residency at the Dallas Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she focused on various areas of psychiatry, including outpatient general psychiatry, Primary Care-Mental Health Integration (PCMHI), geriatric outpatient care, consult-liaison psychiatry, inpatient psychiatry, and substance abuse clinics. This diverse range of experiences has given her a comprehensive understanding of mental health across different settings and patient populations.


Susana's approach to mental health care is characterized by empathy and collaboration. She believes in tailoring treatment to each patient's individual needs, utilizing evidence-based practices. She understands the importance of actively listening to her patients, valuing their input, and creating a safe and non-judgmental space for them to share their concerns. She has experience providing assessment and treatment for a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including mood disorders, adjustment difficulties, trauma-related disorders, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and other common psychiatric disorders in both children and adults.
